盘龙城位于湖北省武汉市黄陂区，是长江流域已知布局最清楚、遗迹最丰富的一处商代前期城址，距今有3500年历史，是商朝南土中心城邑，武汉城市之根。1954年发现，1988年公布为全国重点文物保护单位，被评为中国20世纪100项考古大发现之一。2013年被国家文物局列为第二批国家考古遗址公园立项名单。

SUREDesign承担了盘龙城国家考古遗址公园的标识导视和景观环境图形工作。

考虑到盘龙城遗迹的历史背景和盘龙城遗址博物馆的整体风格，我们以夯土、木纹和古铜色不锈钢作为标识的主要材料及设色，在体块的材料差异中进行穿插和挪移，体现出不同材料间的代际差异，同时展现出博物馆的当代特质和历史的文化线索。

盘龙城国家考古遗址公园占地面积较大，从地块上分为博物馆区和遗址区两个部分，但二者距离较远，行走距离约需要20分钟。其他几个园内景点之间的步行距离基本都在5-20分钟左右，因此一旦“错过”，重新回头去找要耽误不少时间和体力。清晰的标识对于现场来说尤其重要，因此我们在关键信息中列出步行距离和所需时间，帮助游客在游览中进行预估。

Panlongcheng, located in Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is a city site in the early Shang Dynasty with the most clear layout and the most abundant relics in the Yangtze River basin. It has a history of 3500 years, and it is the central city in the southern Shang Dynasty and the root of Wuhan City. Discovered in 1954, it was declared a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1988, and was named one of China's 100 great archaeological discoveries in the 20th century. In 2013, it was listed as the second batch of national archaeological site park project list by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.
SURE Design undertook the signage guide and landscape environment graphics for Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park.

Considering the historical background of Panlongcheng Ruins and the overall style of Panlongcheng Ruins Museum, we use rammed earth, wood grain and bronze stainless steel as the main materials and colors to interweave and shift the material differences of the blocks, reflecting the generational differences between different materials, as well as showing the contemporary characteristics of the museum and historical cultural clues.

Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park covers a large area, which is divided into two parts: museum area and site area. However, the distance between the two parts is relatively far, which takes about 20 minutes to walk. The walking distance between other scenic spots in the park is about 5-20 minutes, so once "missed", it will take a lot of time and energy to go back to find. Clear signage is especially important to the site, so we list walking distance and time in key information to help visitors estimate during the tour.
